Anywhere Host refers to a host virtual machine.

Armor Core refers to an Armor product, which is also called the Armor Agent.

 

Step 1: Locate the Armor Agent

  1. In the Armor user interface, on the left-side navigation, click Infrastructure
  2. Click Virtual Machines
  3. Click Add Anywhere Host
  4. Select you operating system (Amazon Linux, CentOS, and Redhat). 
  5. Locate and copy your license key. You will need this key later in the installation process. 


Step 2: Download the Armor Agent

There are two ways to download to agent. 

Option 1: Download via a file

  1. Under Standard Installation, download and execute the armor-agent.rpm file. 


Option 2: Download via the command line

  1. Run the following command: 

    Install Agent
    sudo curl -O https://get.core.armor.com/latest/armor-agent.rpm

Step 3: Install the Armor Agent

  1. Run the following command: 

    Install Agent
    sudo yum install armor-agent.rpm
  2. Modify the configuration file at /etc/armor/armor.cfg to use your license key. Use the following script as an example: 

    Configure Agent
    sudo sed -i 's/license=/license=AAAA1-A11AA-AA1AA-AAAAA-1AAAA/' /etc/armor/armor.cfg
  3. Run the following command: 

    Start Agent
    sudo service armor-agent start
