Download and install the SSL VPN client

The Cisco AnyConnect Client is used to create a secure connection from your local computer to your Secure Cloud Servers within Armor's environment.

  1. Download the client. Select the link that corresponds to your operating system: 
  2. Once the file has downloaded, run the installer, and then follow the on-screen prompt.
  3. If you have any issues downloading or installing the AnyConnect client, please contact Armor Support through the Armor Ticketing System.


Connect to the SSL VPN client

  1. In your local machine, open the Cisco AnyConnect Client
  2. Verify and select the correct hostname: 

    Data
    center
    CenterWeb
    address
    Address
    Dallasvpn-1.armor.com
    Phoenixvpn-6.armor.com
    Londonvpn-3.armor.com
    Amsterdamvpn-4.armor.com
    Singaporevpn-8.armor.com
  3. Enter your VPN credentials, which are the same credentials for my.armor.com.
  4. Click Connect
    • If you have enabled two-factor authentication for your account, then answer the phone call from Armor, and then follow the instructions. 

Manage SSL VPN accounts

In my.armor.com, you can use the SSL VPN screen to add or disable SSL VPN access.

Note

To fully use this screen, you must have the Add or Remove Billable Items and the Add/Edit Users permissions assigned to your account. 

  1. In my.armor.com, click Security
  2. Click SSL VPN
  3. To enable SSL VPN access, select Add SSL/VPN
  4. Indicate if you want to enable two-factor authentication for the account. 
  5. In the bottom of the screen, select the checkbox to acknowledge the fees and to complete the order. 
    • To disable SSL VPN access, move the slider to red.
